City Named Top 150 Workplace for 4th Consecutive Year
Ranking #24 in the midsized company category, Eden Prairie is the only municipal government in Minnesota to receive this recognition.
Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from more than 69,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations. The rankings are based on confidential employee survey information collected by WorkplaceDynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.
“I couldn’t be happier that the City of Eden Prairie has been recognized once again as a Top 150 Workplace,” said City Manager Rick Getschow. “This is the fourth year in a row we’ve received this honor, confirming that employees here feel valued for their contributions and take pride in making Eden Prairie one of the best places to live.”
Mayor Nancy Tyra-Lukens sees a direct correlation between the City’s outstanding work environment and consistent recognition as a top place to live. “For years I’ve worked alongside these employees who are committed to providing excellent service to our residents, businesses and visitors – and to each other. They work together to put Eden Prairie near the top of so many rankings.”
The 2017 Top 150 Workplaces special section will be published in the Sunday, June 25, issue of the Star Tribune. Click here for the complete list of Top 150 Workplaces.
