The Eden Prairie Community Band is a 75-member group that performs year-round in Eden Prairie and neighboring communities. The band has two smaller groups, a concert band and a Big Band. The band’s schedule includes the annual Staring Lake Concert Series each summer, holiday concerts and other special events.

Both bands practice on Thursday nights at Central Middle School. The concert band rehearses from 7-9 p.m. and the Jazz on the Prairie Big Band rehearses from 9-10:30 p.m.

All residents with talent in a musical instrument are encouraged to apply.
