The Eden Prairie Police Department offers free car seat inspections to Eden Prairie residents for car seats of all sizes. Car seat inspections are by appointment only on Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
To schedule an appointment with one of the department's three state-certified car seat technicians, please contact Officer Linda Williams at (952) 949-6228.
Car seat inspections take approximately 30 minutes in length. Please bring both the owner's manual for your car and the car seat manual to the inspection. Technicians prefer that the child be present at the inspection. Car seats over six years should be replaced. Technicians will not install car seats that are over six years old.
