The City of Eden Prairie partners with Homes within Reach, a non-profit Community Land Trust, to provide affordable homeownership opportunities to Eden Prairie residents. Homes Within Reach purchases single-family homes and sells them to qualified first-time homebuyers at a reduced price (average sales price is approximately $150,000). Homes within Reach then retains ownership of the land and leases it to the homeowner for a small fee.
To qualify
— Must be a first-time homebuyer
— Qualify for a mortgage from a commercial lender
