Planning Commission Meeting

COVID-19 Courtesy Notice Regarding Public Hearing for Anderson Reserve Project Proposal

Residents can provide written comments before the public hearing, which are included in the public record. To assist with maintaining physical distance, groups of residents with similar comments or concerns are encouraged to designate a representative who can share the collective feedback at the public hearing.

The meeting can also be viewed live on EPTV, the City’s cable government access channel, and online at

Residents who attend the public hearing are encouraged to wear face coverings, but masks are not required. To ensure a safe environment for residents who attend in person, Commission members and City staff, the following measures are being taken:

Sign-In Sheet — Please sign in when you arrive and indicate if you wish to speak at the public hearing. This will assist the Planning Commission and staff in maintaining physical distance in the Council Chambers.

Council Chambers Seating — Seating is limited in the Council Chambers and arranged to maintain 6 feet of physical distance. If all chairs are taken, residents should not stand in the back of the room and instead find seating in an overflow area.

Additional Seating — Overflow seating arranged to maintain physical distance is available outside the Council Chambers and in the lower-level Heritage Rooms. The Planning Commission meeting will be broadcast into these areas.

Public Hearing — Residents who sign in to speak during the public hearing will be called to the podium by name. Those who are watching the meeting from an overflow seating area will be allowed time to enter the Council Chambers and address the Planning Commission.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us meet our goal of maintaining compliance with COVID-19 safety precautions. If you have any questions, contact City Planner Julie Klima at 952-949-8489.

The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month in the Council Chambers at City Center.

Planning Commission meetings are televised live on EPTV, and streamed live and on-demand at
