County Road 61/Flying Cloud Drive Reconstruction Project
The reconstructing of Flying Cloud Drive between Spring Road and Highway 101 has begun. Part of the projects calls for constructing retaining walls and a new bridge near the Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area. Stage 2 work began Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, and construction is anticipated to last 12 to 14 months and be complete in fall 2019. Flying Cloud Drive is closed to through traffic between Highway 101 in Chanhassen and Spring Road [PDF]. Access to local businesses, restaurants, the Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area Spring, employers and the Flying Cloud Airport remains open during construction. Parking for the Richard T.
