January Council Workshop
The Tuesday, Jan. 22, Council workshop will begin at 5 p.m. and the topic of our workshop will be “Commission Work Plans.” Members and staff liaisons of the following six commissions will attend the workshop to review their 2018 accomplishments and present their 2019 work plans to the City Council:
- Conservation Commission
- Flying Cloud Airport Advisory Commission
- Heritage Preservation Commission
- Human Rights and Diversity Commission
- Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Commission
- Planning Commission
City Commission Recruitment
Eden Prairie residents are invited to apply for City commissions beginning Monday, Jan. 14 through Monday, Feb. 4. The City Council values the input of residents and provides opportunities for participation through six advisory commissions. Applicants must live in Eden Prairie. Applications can be found online at edenprairie.org/Commissions beginning Jan. 14. The City is recruiting new members for the six commissions listed above.
State of the City
The 2019 State of the City Luncheon is Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at Bearpath Golf and Country Club. This annual Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce event include updates from the Chamber President, Eden Prairie Schools Superintendent and the City Manager.
