Post Date:March 29, 2019

Sustainable Eden PrairieCity of Eden Prairie
There will be several learning opportunities and events this spring focused on protecting our natural resources, reducing waste and conserving energy.

Home Energy Audit
Save money on energy bills by scheduling a Home Energy Squad visit. The first 200 homeowners who sign up beginning April 1 receive a $50 discount. During the visit, trusted energy consultants install energy-saving materials, perform diagnostic tests and help residents develop a customized plan for saving energy. Visits normally cost $100 and are valued at more than $600. Find out more about how you can save on energy costs with a Home Energy Audit.

Fix-It Clinic
On Sunday, April 14 bring your broken items to Hennepin County's free Fix-It Clinic at the Senior Center from noon to 4 p.m. Volunteers will be available to help repair small household appliances, clothing, electronics, mobile devices and more!

Riverview Road Closed
Due to rising water from the Minnesota River, Riverview Road is closed between Hennepin Town Road and Parker Drive. The road will reopen when water subsides and the pavement has been inspected.

Staring Lake Off-Leash Dog Park
The seasonal off-leash dog exercise area at Staring Lake Park has opened for the season. Make sure your dog is properly licensed and review the rules and regulations before visiting the dog park. Visit edenprairie.org/DogParks for more information.

  • Lifeguards
