Mayor’s Water Conservation Challenge
Mayor Ron Case is challenging Eden Prairie residents to conserve water, energy and natural resources by participating in the Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation. The free annual challenge is a friendly competition between cities across the nation to see who can be the most "water-wise." Throughout the month of April, residents can make online pledges at mywaterpledge.com on behalf of Eden Prairie. By making a pledge, participants promise to follow a series of conservation measures for their homes, yards and cars, such as washing only full loads of laundry, fixing leaky faucets, and walking or biking short distances. Participants in cities with the highest percentage of pledges can win $3,000 toward their home utility payments, water saving fixtures and hundreds of other prizes. Read more about the Mayor's Water Conservation Challenge.
