Post Date:April 12, 2019
Singletree Lane ProjectCity of Eden Prairie

The Singletree Lane streetscape project [PDF] contractors are preparing to start the project Monday, April 15, weather permitting. The first items of work will include setting up traffic control. There will be lanes closed throughout the project depending on the work areas. Tree removals will follow traffic control installation. Removed trees will be replaced with even more trees, and additional landscaping will be installed along the medians and boulevards. The sidewalk along the south side of Singletree will be widened to 8 feet and new lighting matching the eastern portion of Singletree will be installed. View the Singletree Lane rendering [PDF].

Traffic Signals
The Hennepin County controlled signals along Highway 62 from Dell Road to West 62nd Street/South Frontage Road have been upgraded with flashing yellow arrow left turn operations. Lights became fully operational the first week of April. The City of Eden Prairie and the City of Minnetonka partnered with Hennepin County on the upgrade.
