Save Energy Costs with Home Energy Squad® Visit
Schedule a Home Energy Squad® visit. The first 200 customers to sign up pay only $50! Visits normally cost $100 and are valued at more than $600. During the typical 2.5-hour visit, a team of trusted energy consultants installs energy-saving materials, performs diagnostic tests and helps residents develop a customized plan for saving energy, which can help reduce utility bills and make homes more comfortable.
Save up to $175 on Smart Irrigation Controller
Water wisely by installing a smart irrigation controller. Eden Prairie residents can receive a 100-percent rebate, up to $175, for the purchase and installation of a Wi-Fi-enabled smart irrigation controller.

Save Energy and Money With a New Air Conditioner
High-efficiency air conditioners cost less to operate, saving energy and money. Xcel Energy Customers can earn a rebate up to $450 for central air conditioners and air-sources heat pumps.
Receive $50 Rebate to Recycle Your Refrigerator or Freezer
Xcel Energy customers can receive a $50 (normally $35) rebate to recycle a still-functioning fridge or freezer. Offer good through May 31, 2019.
Volunteer for Wetland Health Evaluation Program (WHEP)
The City of Eden Prairie is seeking volunteers to monitor four wetlands this summer for vegetation and invertebrates. Volunteers provide important information to City and county planners, engineers, resource managers and others. The data is also used by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to track wetland health throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
Visit Arbor Day Walk/Green FairDon't miss Eden Prairie's Arbor Day event at Round Lake Park Saturday, May 4. Visitors can check out a variety of green-themed vendors and watch the Minnesota Society of Arboriculture Tree Climbing Championship. Enjoy concessions, family activities, a story stroll and pop-up library, and get free seedlings (while supplies last) and information on native plants, renewable energy and tree health. A shredder truck will also be available at this year’s event, residents may shred a maximum of two grocery bags each, first-come, first-served until the truck is full.
More than 80 people visited a recent Fix-It Clinic in Eden Prairie with more than 100 items needing repair. Clinic volunteers were able to fix 83 percent of those items, diverting 383 pounds of waste from landfills. Bring your broken items to the next Hennepin County Fix-It Clinic May 11 in Bloomington.
