Vote Early Now for 2020 Presidential Primary
Minnesota's Presidential Nomination Primary is Tuesday, March 3. All eligible Eden Prairie residents can vote absentee — either in-person or by mail — beginning Friday, Jan. 17.
Vote Early in Person
In-person absentee voting is available at the Eden Prairie City Center:
Monday–Friday (excluding holidays)
8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 29
10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Monday, March 2
8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Hennepin County residents can also vote absentee at the Hennepin County Government Center – 300 South 6th Street, skyway level — during business hours.
Vote Early by Mail
To receive an absentee ballot by mail, voters must complete an online application. While voters are not required to be preregistered when applying to vote absentee, they are encouraged to register to vote first to make the process easier. Those who are unsure of their voter status can check to see if they are registered on the Minnesota Secretary of State website.
Ballots are mailed to voters within one to two days of receiving applications. Completed ballots must be received on or before the March 3 Presidential Primary.
