The City of Eden Prairie is a provider of the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program.
The Learn-to-Swim program provides comprehensive, developmentally-appropriate swimming and water safety courses that teach participants how to swim skillfully and safely as well as to think and act safely in, on and around the water.
The prerequisite for each level is successful demonstration of the skills from the preceding level, except for Preschool 1, which requires a minimum of 3 years of age and Level 1, which requires a minimum of 5 years of age.
View the Aquatics section in the Parks and Recreation program guide [PDF] for a complete list of programs and descriptions of Learn-to-Swim classes offered by the City of Eden Prairie.
Beginning January 2019, swimming lesson registration will open approximately one month before each session begins. Swimming lesson class waiting lists will not be maintained. Visit edenprairie.org/register for up-to-date class availability.
