Bryant Lake Regional Park
Road and parking lot construction will take place at Bryant Lake Regional Park starting spring 2020, and construction will impact use of the park.

County Road 61/Flying Cloud Drive
This project includes the reconstruction of County Road 61/Flying Cloud Drive from Highway 101 in Chanhassen to Charlson Road in Eden Prairie.

Duck Lake Road Improvements
The project includes reconstructing the roadway from Duck Lake Trail to approximately Mallard Court, including adding concrete curbs and gutters. Additional improvements include adding a bituminous trail and concrete sidewalk along separate portions of the roadway.

Eden Prairie Road Improvements
Most of the Eden Prairie Road project was completed in fall 2019 in coordination with Hennepin County's County Road 61/Flying Cloud Drive Reconstruction Project. Final paving, landscaping, site restoration and cleanup will be completed in 2020.

I-494: Airport to Highway 169
MnDOT staff and its partners are working to provide environmental documentation and preliminary and final engineering reconstruction of the I-494 corridor that travels through the cities of Bloomington, Richfield, Eden Prairie and Edina.

Lower Riley Creek Restoration Project
The Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District, City of Eden Prairie and Lower Minnesota Watershed District are working together to restore a section of Lower Riley Creek that has experienced extensive erosion. The work in the Riley Creek Conservation Area is scheduled from fall 2019 through spring 2020.

The project includes improvements at the intersection of Prairie Center Drive and Preserve Boulevard, the addition of a second southbound lane on Preserve Boulevard, and improvements at Anderson Lakes Parkway and to the Eden Lake storm water outlet.

Pump Station and Water Storage Reservoir
The City is building a new pump station and water storage reservoir to accommodate future water service expansion and improve system reliability.

Southwest Light Rail Transit
The Southwest Light Rail Transit (SWLRT), or Green Line Extension, is a high-frequency train that will connect downtown Minneapolis to Eden Prairie through St. Louis Park, Hopkins and Minnetonka.

TC&W Railroad Crossing Safety Improvements
The Twin Cities & Western Railroad Company railroad crossings at West 62nd Street, Birch Island Road and Valley View Road are receiving improvements such as raised concrete medians, striping, roadway resurfacing, signage and new utilities.

West 70th Street
With the completion of the first phase of this project in 2015, the second phase includes reconstruction of the eastern segment of the roadway. The construction will be coordinated with Southwest LRT construction to extend the multi-modal improvements on West 70th Street from the proposed Golden Triangle LRT Station east to Shady Oak Road.
